How do I find log files in OSX?
Sync logs activity including errors in the log files and our support team may need you to locate and email us these logs.
To automatically send them to us:
1. Click the Sync icon in the menu bar
2. Click Preferences
3. Click the Options tab
4. Click “send now” next to the “report Errors to Server” option
To manually locate them and send them to us:
1. Click ‘Go’ in the Menu Bar at the top of the screen
2. Select ‘Go to Folder…’
3. In OSX versions 10.10 (Yosemite) and up enter:
/Users/Username*/Library/Containers/com.sync.agent.findersync/Data/Library/Logs/Sync.com/
In OSX versions 10.9 (Mavericks) and below enter:
/Users/Username*/Library/Logs/Sync.com/
*Note Username would be your own username on the device.
4.Click ‘Go’
5. Locate the sync-taskbar.log and sync-worker.log text files, you will need to send both to the support team
