Everything you need to store more—privately.
A password protects your account. Encryption protects the files themselves.
Cloud storage can be secure without being truly private. The deciding question is simple: who controls the key that turns stored data back into readable files?
✓Your files are encrypted before upload. We store the locked file—not the key that opens it.
Privacy depends on the provider's access policies and systems.
The cloud holds the locked file, not a readable copy.
Encryption alone is not enough when the provider controls the key.
Copied or handed-over data cannot be opened without the key.
✓End-to-end encryption works automatically in the background. Upload, sync, access and share files just like familiar cloud storage.
Make privacy practical for your whole digital life.
5TBEnough room to bring photos, videos, documents, active projects and long-term archives together—without giving your storage provider the ability to read them.

What will I be charged today?
With annual billing, you are charged $168 today for your first year—equivalent to $14/month. With monthly billing, you are charged $16 today and then $16 each month during your first 12 months.
What happens after the first year?
The promotional price applies during your first 12 months. After that, Solo 5TB renews at the then-current standard price for your selected annual or monthly billing schedule unless you cancel.
How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?
New plan purchases are eligible for a full refund when canceled within the first 30 days. The guarantee does not apply to renewals, reactivations or plan upgrades. After a renewal, service remains active through the paid term and unused time is not refunded.
Which payment methods can I use?
The U.S. checkout accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Can I cancel or change my plan?
Yes. You can cancel from Account & Billing at any time, and access continues until the end of your current billing term. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades apply at the end of the term. Some billing-frequency changes, including annual to monthly, require help from support.
How do I move my existing files to Sync.com?
Install the desktop app and drag or copy files into the Sync folder, where they upload automatically. You can also upload files and folders through the web panel. Our entirely in-house support team is available if you need help.
Which devices can I use?
Sync.com has desktop apps for Windows and macOS, mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and web access through a browser.
Can Sync.com read my files?
Your files are end-to-end encrypted before upload and stored as encrypted data. Sync.com does not access file contents as part of normal service. Your password and recovery settings determine how your encryption keys are protected.
What if I forget my password?
For added privacy, email-based password recovery is turned off by default. You can choose to enable it in your account settings if you want an email recovery option. If you are already signed in to the Sync desktop app, you may also be able to reset your password there. We recommend keeping your password somewhere secure and reviewing your recovery preferences when you set up your account.
