Sync 5.0.25 Desktop Apps Available

We’ve just released version 5.0.25 of the Sync CloudFiles app for Windows and Mac. If you’re already running Sync, you can update now by downloading and installing the app directly.

Improvements:

• Increased per folder file limit from 10,000 to 50,000 (Windows, Mac)
• More prominent error messaging with links to help desk for stuck files (Windows, Mac)
• "core" no longer an excluded file name (Windows, Mac)
• Local generation of PDF thumbs (Mac)

Fixes:

• Fixed various issues that could cause files to get stuck (Windows, Mac)
• Fixed instances where app would pause or crash (Windows)
• Check to prevent multiple users from using the same Sync folder location (Windows)
• Moving a share folder no longer breaks the share (Windows)
• Fixed cases of files getting locked permanently (Mac)
• Fixed instances where the “Remove Download” menu option was not working (Mac)
• Folder icon shortcuts now work for excluded files and folders (Mac)
